Hello to all,
Welcome to the 2017/18 school year in the art room!
This first 8 day cycle is being celebrated by the grand opening of the Drawing Center. Children were invited to experiment and explore drawing tools such as markers and crayons, oil and dry pastels, drawing pencils and pens as well as five different sets of coloring pencils. Many artistic behaviors were already witnessed while the children practiced observational drawings, line drawing and self portraits. Children are being exposed to basic artistic vocabulary such as lines, shapes and patterns. Students are excited and motivated to create in our new art classroom!
